Bethlehem was excited to work with Solar Faithful this past year. Creation Care was a key facet of Pastor Paul’s call to ministry in 2011 and has been a part of Bethlehem’s vision for over a decade. Yet, while we had been chipping away at helping the Earth in our small corner, something amazing happened in 2024: after selling some church property down the street from the church, we suddenly found ourselves able to consider purchasing a solar panel array in full, hopefully with the assistance of federal rebates. Long story short: the stars came in line for us to help the planet, and thanks be to God and Solar Faithful – we are! The church is watching our energy costs come down this year, and we are feeling the call of the larger (ELCA) Lutheran Church, to be and do ‘God’s Work. [With] Our Hands!'” Thanks for partnering with us on this faithful journey.
